India Young Professionals Scheme visa (pt. 2) Themis Crown Advocates

Eligibility

In order to be considered for an India Young Professionals Scheme visa, applicants must meet the following criteria:


- Must be an Indian national or citizen aged between 18 and 30 years old.

- Must be at least 18 years old on the date of intended travel to the UK.

- Must hold a qualification at bachelor’s degree level or higher (Regulated Qualifications Framework level 6, 7, or 8).

- Must have a minimum of £2,530 in savings to sustain oneself in the UK.

- Must not have any dependents under the age of 18 residing with them or for whom they are financially responsible.


Applicants are required to first apply and be selected in the India Young Professionals Scheme ballot before proceeding with the visa application process.


Individuals who have previously participated in the India Young Professionals Scheme or the Youth Mobility Scheme visa are ineligible to apply.


Eligible qualifications

In order to be eligible, you must possess one of the following qualifications:


- A UK bachelor's degree or higher (Regulated Qualifications Framework level 6, 7, or 8)

- An equivalent qualification from an overseas institution at degree level or higher


If you are unsure about the level of your qualification, please consult with your college or university for clarification.


Evidence of your qualifications

In order to demonstrate your eligibility, you will be required to provide evidence of holding a qualification at the bachelor's degree level or higher (Regulated Qualifications Framework level 6, 7, or 8).


Your college or university must furnish written verification that you have:


- Successfully completed your academic program

- Obtained the necessary qualification upon graduation


Money to support yourself

In order to demonstrate your ability to support yourself in the UK, you must have a minimum of £2,530 in your bank account.


This amount must have been maintained for a consecutive 28-day period, with the 28th day falling within 31 days of your visa application.


Proof of this financial requirement will be necessary when submitting your application.

Documents you must provide

When submitting your application, you will be required to provide the following documents:


- A valid passport or another form of identification that clearly displays your identity and nationality.

- Proof that you have a minimum of £2,530 in your bank account, such as bank statements.

- Documentation of your qualifications.

- Your tuberculosis (TB) test results if you reside in India or another country on the specified list.

- A police report or clearance certificate from India - please refer to the guidelines on how to obtain criminal records checks.


Additionally, ensure that there is an empty page in your passport to accommodate your visa.


Other documents you might need

If your documents are not in English or Welsh, you will also need to provide a certified translation.
